Our Year 3/Year 4 class taught by Mrs K. Brookes, with support from Mrs Weller and Mrs Roden/Mrs Charlton.
We follow the 2014 National Curriculum for KS2 and plan lessons and learning objectives to ensure that all students meet these requirements. We record progress using the Pupil Asset online system based on a pupil’s understanding of each of the curriculum objectives.
The timetable has been developed such that there is a focus on reading, writing and maths before lunchtime with other subjects being used to develop a wider understanding of the application of these core skills. We rotate foundation and creative subjects on a termly basis.
